FITNESS STUDIO DISPLAYS

Set the pace in your studio with a split-flap board that flips through classes, timers, and race progress. flaps.tv puts schedules, interval clocks, and wellness notes on any gym screen, started from a template you fork and tune to your space and brand.

The timer is the anchor, so size it first. A countdown widget on a three-or-four-row board with oversized digits reads mid-set from the back of the room — bigger cells beat more information here. Fork a fitness template and stretch the timer rows until they are legible at your studio's depth, then keep a slim row beneath for the current block, like 'EMOM 12' or 'REST 0:90'. The flip on every second gives the whole room one shared clock to work against.

Feed the schedule from your booking system. Point a live data widget at its JSON or API feed and class times, coach names, and spots-left counts update on the lobby board automatically — the front desk stops retyping the timetable, and a filled class flips to FULL on its own. Live data sources come with the Business plan. Scores for the workout-of-the-day leaderboard can flow the same way from a scoring app, or a coach can type results in from a phone between heats.

Scenes match the board to the hour. Run the day's schedule between classes, flip to the timer scene when the session starts, and show the leaderboard scene while members cool down — each scene has its own duration, and a coach can push the change from the dashboard on a phone without walking to the TV. A multi-room studio forks a board per room, each with its own classes and colors, all managed from the same account and updated in real time.

WHAT TO KNOW
Can I display a live interval timer for class?

Yes. Use a countdown or timer widget on a forked board so rounds and rest periods flip down on the studio screen in real time.

Can the schedule sync with our booking software?

Connect a JSON or API feed from your booking system and class times and capacity update on the board automatically.

What do I need to put a board on the gym wall?

A TV or monitor with a browser is enough. Cast from a streaming stick or phone, with no special hardware to buy.

How much does a studio display cost?

Building and configuring boards is free, so you can design the timer and schedule before paying anything. Running a board live starts at $8/mo for one screen; Pro at $29/mo covers five displays, enough for most multi-room studios.

Can the screen switch between schedule, timer, and leaderboard automatically?

Yes. Set each as its own scene with a duration — schedule between classes, timer during work, leaderboard after — and the board rotates on its own. Coaches can also push a scene change from the dashboard mid-class without touching the TV.
