Does it work on my TV?

Most smart TVs work straight from their built-in browser: open flaps.tv/d and press "Test this TV" to check yours in about ten seconds. Older TVs can use Chrome or Edge on a laptop, mini-PC or streaming stick plugged into the screen.

Can I build before paying?

Yes. Make and preview boards without a card. Pairing your first screen starts a free 14-day TV trial on Starter limits (1 display, 5 scenes); pick a plan before it ends to keep the board playing.

What kinds of boards can I show?

Four styles: split-flap, LED matrix, flip-dot, and CRT terminal. Choose one when you create a board. Your rows, widgets, and scenes work the same in every style, and you can switch later in the board settings.

How do updates reach a room?

The paired player checks for published layouts. If it goes offline, it keeps showing the last layout it received.

Can Flap publish on its own?

No. You review every suggestion and decide when to save. Your board stays yours.
