How does the board know which prayer is next?
The "next" widget holds the day's five times and automatically flips to whichever one is coming up, and the jumu'ah widget does the same for Friday's two sittings. Edit both lists in the widget settings as the timetable shifts through the seasons.
Can prayer times update automatically instead of by hand?
On the Business plan, a live data widget can read times from any JSON API — many prayer-time services publish one — so the board refreshes without manual edits. On other plans, updating the two time lists takes under a minute.
What do we need to mount this in the lobby?
Any TV or screen that can open a web page: a smart TV, or an older set with a Chromecast, Fire TV, or Apple TV. No custom hardware and no code — the board is a URL the screen keeps open.
Can it rotate with announcements between prayers?
Yes. Add more scenes to the same display — community announcements, class schedules, or donation updates — each with its own duration. The display cycles through them unattended and returns to the prayer times without anyone touching it.
