How do we adapt the statuses to our building?
Edit the red status ticker to your own message set — drill notices, weather closures, all-clear — and rewrite the instructions ticker with your actual assembly points and routes, so the board matches your emergency plan rather than generic advice.
Can the status update from our alerting system automatically?
On the Business plan you can point a live data widget at any JSON endpoint — for example, a status API your alerting tool exposes — and the board flips to new values in under a second. The weather widget already pulls live conditions for the city you set.
How do we keep it ready without showing alerts all day?
Keep the alert layout as one scene on a display that normally rotates everyday content, or as a separate board you switch a TV to when needed. Scene durations are set per scene, so daily content runs unattended until the alert view is required.
What screens can this run on across a campus?
Any TV or monitor that opens a URL: smart TVs, or sets with Chromecast, Fire TV, or Apple TV devices. Because there is no proprietary player hardware, you can standardize the same board across lobbies, break rooms, and classrooms.
