How do I set our actual tour and talk times?
Each next-event widget holds a simple list of times. Fork the board, replace the 10:00-16:00 tour list and the 11:30-15:30 talk list with your daily program, and the widgets automatically count down to whichever slot is next, looping day after day.
Can weekend programming differ from weekdays on the same screen?
Yes. Build a weekday scene and a weekend scene with different tours, talks, and notices, and adjust which scenes play as the week turns. You can also add a special-exhibition scene during a headline show and retire it when the show closes.
Our lobby screen is a large 4K wall — will the board scale?
The 11-row by 40-column grid renders crisply at any size because the flaps are drawn live in browser canvas, not from images. On a very large wall you might reduce columns so each character grows, keeping tour times readable from the entrance queue.
What equipment does a museum need to run this?
Only a screen with a browser. Existing donor-wall TVs, a Chromecast tucked behind a lobby display, or an Apple TV all work — open the board's URL and it plays continuously through open hours with no signage server or media player.
