How do I put my own dishes and prices on this menu?
Fork the template and type over each line — dish on the left, price on the right, exactly like the burger, salmon bowl, and risotto rows. When you 86 a dish or change a price, edit the line and the TV flips to the new menu instantly.
The board is 12 rows by 42 columns — what if my menu is longer?
Resize it. After forking, raise the row count to fit more dishes, or narrow the columns so type reads larger on a smaller screen. If the menu still will not fit one screen, split it across scenes — mains on one, drinks and desserts on the next.
Can I show a lunch menu and a dinner menu on the same TV?
Yes. Build lunch and dinner as separate scenes with their own dishes and durations, and the board rotates between them; the specials ticker can differ per scene too. Many restaurants also keep a happy-hour scene in the rotation.
What kind of TV works behind the counter?
Any TV that can open a web page: a smart TV's browser, or a Chromecast, Fire TV, or Apple TV plugged into a plain screen. No menu-board hardware or subscription boxes — the split-flap animation runs right in the browser at 60 FPS.
