WAREHOUSE PICK RATE BOARD

A warehouse operations board that tracks pick rate, order progress, dock activity, and the safety streak on a large floor TV. Defaults show 184 picks per hour, a 68% orders progress bar, a rotating dock ticker ("dock 2 loading", "forklift lane clear"), and 41 days safe. Shift leads and pickers read the day's pace from across the floor.

QUESTIONS
Can pick rate and order counts feed from our WMS?

Yes. If your warehouse management system can expose stats as JSON — most can via API or a small export job — Business-plan data widgets poll it and the pick-rate digits flip within a second. Until then, supervisors can update the numbers manually from any laptop.

Is the board readable on a big warehouse TV far from the floor?

That is what the rows-by-columns setting is for. Drop the grid from 10x36 to something like 6x24 after forking and each split-flap character gets dramatically larger, so the 184/hr pick rate stays legible from the far racks.

How do I change the dock ticker and safety counter?

Both are editable widgets. Rewrite the rotating dock messages ("dock 2 loading", "dock 3 inbound") to match your doors, and reset or relabel the 41-day safety counter after an incident or a milestone. Line colors can flag urgent dock states in orange or red.

What does it cost to run this on the warehouse floor?

The board is free to fork and configure. Playing it live on the floor TV takes a paid plan from $8/mo — cheaper than dedicated warehouse signage systems because it runs in any TV browser with no controller PC or proprietary player.
