Do the prices really update by themselves?
Yes. Each row is a data widget pointed at CoinGecko's free simple-price endpoint with a JSON path like $.bitcoin.usd, polling on an interval you control. When a value changes, the row flips in under a second. Live data sources run on the Business plan.
Can I track coins other than BTC, ETH, and SOL?
Yes — CoinGecko's endpoint accepts more coin ids in the URL. After forking, add ids like dogecoin or cardano to the query, add rows to the board, and drop in a data widget per coin with the matching JSON path.
What do I put behind the TV to run a price wall?
Nothing special — the board runs in any TV browser or through a Chromecast, Fire TV, or Apple TV stick. The fetching happens in the page itself, so there is no server to host and no script to maintain.
How much does a live crypto board cost?
