AMBIENT MATRIX RAIN BOARD
A matrix rain scene that streams green code glyphs down a 12x44 split-flap grid, with trails seven flaps long and a dense 0.7 fill. It sets the mood in developer offices, maker spaces, gaming rooms, and cyber-themed venues without looping video files. Palette, glyph set, speed, and density are all editable presets.

Can I change the color or the falling characters?
Yes. The preset includes palette (green by default), glyph set (code characters), speed, density, and trail length. Switch the palette or glyphs after forking for a different mood — the rain regenerates instantly with the new settings.
Will the animation run smoothly on a TV stick?
The rain renders in browser canvas at 60 FPS, the same engine as every flaps.tv board, and plays on Chromecast, Fire TV, Apple TV, and smart TV browsers. There is no video file to buffer — the effect is generated live.
Can it rotate with our engineering dashboards?
Yes. Put the rain on the same display as your incident or metrics boards as its own scene with its own duration. The display cycles through scenes unattended, so the ambience appears between dashboards without anyone switching inputs.
What happens if I shrink the 12x44 grid?
The effect adapts to whatever rows and columns you set. Fewer columns means fewer, larger streams of glyphs — bolder from a distance — while the default 12x44 gives the densest, most screen-filling rain on a large TV.
